The Suzuki VZ800 Marauder, a cruiser machine represented by features like a round headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a one-piece dual seat, a dual exhaust system, and aluminum alloy wheels.
For suspension, the motorcycle packed an inverted telescopic fork on the front and a five-way spring preload-adjustable oil-damped shock absorber on the rear, offering optimum riding characteristics.
The machine's wheels were fitted with a 310 mm brake rotor on the front clamped by a two-pot caliper and a drum braking unit on the rear for stopping power.
Underneath its fuel tank, the Suzuki VZ800 Marauder had installed an 805cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine with a carburetor in charge. It generated 50 hp with a peak at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.
The bike is driven by a five-speed manual gearbox controlled by a wet multi-plate clutch linked to the rear end via a final chain drive.
This configuration made the bike reach a top speed of 164 kph (102 mph).
